On the second part of our recent visit to Italy we travelled to Formigine, the home of Motovario. The hugely impressive production facility produces thousands of gearboxes each day.
Our Warehouse Manager Ian Brownett spent two days taking part in our latest MAC (Motovario Assembly Centre) training, assembling gearboxes from a kit of parts to the exact working instructions of the factory. The training will enable us to build the BA Series of aluminium bevel helical gearboxes from our premises in West Yorkshire, UK for the first time.
As the UK mainland Motovario Assembly Centre, we are officially certified to build Motovario gearboxes from components. This flexibility allows us to build thousands of different selections of gearboxes – we can produce almost any part of the range on a same-day basis. All gearboxes are constructed of the same quality as the Motovario Factory and have the a two year warranty for piece of mind.
A Quick pit stop at Ristorante Montana
While visiting Motovario, we were lucky to visit Ristorante Montana near the Fiorano racetrack. Any day of the week, you will be sitting at the table next to some Ferrari officials. Although we didn’t spot any famous faces, the walls are adorned with sporting memorabilia.
