ABB offer a variety of AC servo motors for industrial, automated applications such as packaging, labelling, wrapping and cutting. They not only design their motors for durability in harsh environments, but also provide a wide choice of high or low inertia motors with winding options, feedback devices and gearheads to match.
The N Series AC brushless motors are designed with high performance neodymium magnets and are designed for low inertia, faster acceleration applications, wheras the C series Is designed for medium inertia rotor for load inertia matching. A stainless steel version, ideal of food handling, bakery machinery or food packaging completes the range.
Choice of high, medium or low inertia motors depending on application needs up to 134Nm. Up to 3 or 4 times continuous torque available.
HDS series 0.6 – 46Nm continuous torque.
BSM N series 0.4 – 40Nm continuous torque.
BSM C series 1.2 – 134Nm
Encapsulated winding allows heat dissipation whilst protecting internal components from contamination. Multiple feedback devices available.
