General Purpose Motors

Baldor-Reliance General Purpose motors are energy efficient, durable and readily available. The robust designs provide industry-leading reliability, flexibility and safety to meet the exact demands of a wide range of applications. They are available in a wide variety of construction enclosures, from industrial steel band open designs to enclosed cast iron designs for robust requirements. The Super E motors (EM & CEM) are NEMA motors that provide NEMA Premium efficiency and are designed as standard to be inverter duty with wide speed ranges.

  • Available in both single and three phase voltage versions, with powers up to 500HP
  • Manufactured using high grade materials for high ambient temperatures, overload conditions and voltage tolerances.
  • Cast Iron and steel band frame options, with a wide variety of mounting options.

Inverter Duty Motors

Baldor-Reliance variable speed AC motors are specifically designed for variable speed control. The platform provides constant torque across the entire operating speed range in traditional NEMA and IEC designs or a power dense laminated steel square frame.

The new EC Titanium range is a particular highlight, with highly efficient integrated motor/drive systems that combine synchronous reluctance and permanent magnet technologies for a sustainable, wirelessly connected solution.

Washdown Motors

ABB’s Baldor-Reliance Washdown Duty motors are the widest variety of washdown motors available from stock. Choose from White Washdown motors, Paint-free motors, Stainless Steel motors or Food Safe motors to make sure you’re getting the correct level of protection for your specific application. Each design is individually tailored to different areas and zones within a production environment. We have a solution to keep your motors in service longer, with fewer failures, no matter how harsh the conditions.
