The food safe motors are easy to clean, resistant to rust and corrosion. They can be subjected to high pressure, hot water washdown, unlike standard aluminium based products which will fail much faster.
The second generation of the SPM series electric motor is produced entirely to IE4 efficiency in IEC frame sizes 63-100 and NEMA sizes 56-145. Power ratings from 0.12kW to 2.2kW and now available in 2, 4 and 6 Poles.
Available as B14 mounting to gearbox or on request, B3 foot mounted or B5 flange mounted. The motors are TENV without any need for cooling. Each stainless steel motor is provided with a hygienic cable gland, with double seals to prevent water entry.
Best suited for applications that come into direct contact with processing product and are subjected to regular sanitisation procedures, in areas such as such as meat and poultry, fish and seafood processing, fruit and vegetables, dairy production, beverages, bakery applications and marine.
